The Parents

The Kindertransport children came to England alone because the British Government agreed to take them but not their parents. For many of the children it was the final goodbye. It wasn't until after the war that they discovered that the majority of their parents had been murdered in concentration camps

Some of the parents who survived tell of the pain of letting their children go to a foreign country. They too were finally amongst the few who managed to escape and many years later met their children again in England
